Tim Benson, Vice President of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, is committed to using his paintings to tell the stories of people throughout the world who don’t have a voice.

Zambia is one of the poorest countries in the world; approximately 78% of its rural population lives in poverty. Of these, an estimated 245,440 people are blind and visually impaired.

Tim spent one week in Zambia to meet members of the local communities who had sight-saving surgery and the health staff trained by Orbis medical volunteers.

This video documents Tim’s journey all the way to his final exhibition.

The Brief

Kent Wildlife Trust wanted to produce legacy based video to further promote their Wildlife Festival held annually at Sevenoaks wildlife reserve country park. Involved an interview with the CEO John Bennett intercut with the actual festival events and surrounding scenery.

Downs View School Transitional Film

Client: Downs View Infants School, Ashford

The Brief

Every annual summer term we are commissioned by Downs View School to a produce a half hour film of a themed project week. It documents the teachers, staff and pupils working together on various activities surrounding the problems, concerns and issues year three pupils may have when moving onto their new junior schools starting the next educational calendar year.

These vox pops feature toward the end of the full length film and show teachers, governors and parents talking about their school days as a child and now putting their feelings into context. The film is screened at an invite only premiere evening and authored onto a DVD master for duplication.

Hop House Crowd Source Appeal

The Brief

The RSPCA, Kent came to us with a crowd source project appeal aimed at raising funds to build a new hop house at their Canterbury branch. We had to interview the managers of the centre to reflect the sympathetic nature of this project intermixed with related footage captured on the site premises.
